SECRET #1 Give your body a break. Just like you need a vacation or down time so does your body. Cleansing, fasting and detoxing provides that for your body.
Here is a easy Detox that wont leave you hungry, hostile or hatingit (one word)
DAY 1
Fill up on Protein to prime your body for the fastest fat burn ever.
To Do: At two-hour intervals until dinner drink a protein shake (mix one scoop of whey, soy or egg-white protein powder with 8oz. water.) Choose a formula free of added carbs and artificial sweeteners (including aspartame, fructose, sucrose, sucralose, maltodextrin, barley malt, molasses and agave.)
8 Am., 10 Am., 12pm., 2pm., 4pm.: (Times are adjustable… if your day starts earlier then by all means start earlier.Just do five consecutive 2 hour intervals)
1shake, plus 8oz. water to flush glycogen metabolites through the kidneys
6pm.: 6 cups raw-veggie salad topped with 6oz. lean protein (chicken, fish, turkey, or beef) or 4 egg whites; ½ avocado or 2 tbs. olive or flaxseed oil and the juice of ½ lemon.
DAYS 2 & 3
Nosh (I like that word) on fruit to flush trapped fat and toxins
To Do: Upon rising and every two hours thereafter until dinner, eat one serving of fresh fruit. Choose any fruit but avoid juices and canned varieties since the processing destroys almost 100 percent of the fruit’s natural enzymes.
This is what I used but do what you like just Try to keep potions the same
8 a.m. : 2 cups melon mix (combine cubed watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew)
10 a.m. : 1 medium banana12 p.m. : 2 cups fresh fruit medley (combine sliced pineapple, strawberries, sliced apple, kiwifruit and blueberries)
2 p.m. : 1 cup of grapes
4 p.m. : 2 cups apple-blueberry delight (combine 1 apple cubed with 1 cup blueberries)
6 p.m. : 6 cups raw-veggie salad topped with; ½ avocado or 2 tbs. olive or flaxseed oil and the juice of ½ lemon: 1 protein shake (mix 8oz. water with one scoop protein powder)
The trick is too take the rest of the week off, then repeat the three day fruit cleanse once weekly for up to 12 weeks at a time. By cycling (the 3-day cleanse followed by the 4-day break) you can lose pounds every week without a restrictive diet and feel great.

SECRET #2 Don't use stuff ON your body you would not put IN your body. I know this may seem strange but it is a good rule of thumb. Not that you are going to stand around drinking olive or any other kind of oil you may use on your body BUT if you had to you could. You can not however cook with lotion or other unnatural creams. So just think to yourself "Could I reasonably cook with this or consume it if I had to." or think "If my kids ate this (which they will) how sick would they get?"
I use: Olive oil, Shea butter, Vitamin E oil, Aloe (gel or juice), lemons (tightens skins and removes blemishes), or coco butter (old favorite), natural or organic soap. I do understand that some of you have "special or sensitive" skin but if you start doing the above vacation for your body it will get better.(seriously)
SECRET #3 Do those things that bring you joy. I know, I know it sounds cliche but it truly does improve your mental, physical and spiritual health. I am speaking to lasting joy, fulfillment, peace and divinity not quick or fleeting enjoyment. Spend time by yourself and get to know what you truly like and what really feeds your spirit. I wont go on too much about this one cause I could go on forever.
