My spirit is so full!

Those who know me know that I am a real deal spirit child.  I am a "willow wisp" (as my god mother calls me)  I move more often off of spirit and feel then pesky logic and reason:)  So if I go from talking about fight the power to lick me low dont trip!
Anyway I came across the picture "The Scream" the other day and I remembered how moved I was when I stared into the picture after hearing the story.  The original German title given to the work by Munch was Der Schrei der Natur (The Scream of Nature). The Norwegian word skrik is usually translated as scream, but is cognate with the English shriek. Occasionally, the painting has been called The Cry.  Standing there I could feel all that was said and all that was felt.  It made me sick to my stomach.  After you read the painter's account I will finish....

A page in his diary headed Nice 22.01.1892, Munch described his inspiration for the image thus:
I was walking along a path with two friends — the sun was setting — suddenly the sky turned blood red — I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence — there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city — my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety — and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.
What is often left out of the story is that the same day this happened to occur half way across the world The Native American Massacre of 1892 was going on.  Coincidence?  Although the "facts" of the Masscre are often hidden there is no denying it occured.  Having just turned 33 and changed many old thought patterns I am even more moved by this phenomenon or rather the connection we all have to one another.  I think of oil spills, tornados, corporate rape, police brutality, sexism, etc. and wonder how "humans" allow themselves to be so desensitized and dead inside.  Hell can't even look at a picture of the painting without feeling it deeply.
Sooo... I challenge you to open your "self" up to being "human" and humane.  Feel with others feel, listen to people spirits and not their words.  Commune with your spirit, nature and The Creator.  Go deeply within self and with others.  Return to that divine place of love, caring, connection, protection, wealth and purity from which we all come.
Once you do please let me know what you found....

Can you see it?  Do you feel it?
