"New Years" Resolutions

It is that time of time again where some of us plot out how we want the "year" to go. We set our resolutions for the "new year" and map out how we will accomplish them.
FYI I'm using "" because people celebrate the "New Year" at different times.  I personally celebrate the Kemetic New Year which takes place at the begging of what we call July.  It is based on Septdet (The Sirius or Dog star) returning after being gone for 40 days.  *This year will mark 6254 AFK (After the founding of Kemet) when Kemet was reunited after years of invasions and wars.* Ancient people based many of their celebrations on celestial events (Cycles of moon, stars, planets, suns; solstices; equinoxes; etc.  In that way everyone, everywhere celebrated at the exact same time.  The current new year is based on the Roman Calendar.  The elections were held at this time and therefore marked the "New Year".
I like the renewed feel from people, whether the prior year was good, bad or indifferent it is over!  People are presented with an entire new cycle with which to fight the ills of the world... starting with self.  It is a time of introspection and reflection. People take time to clean, prepare, renew, mend, heal, bond and do all the things they have wanted to but are now actually taking the time to do.  I love the commitment and determination that the feeling of renewal ALWAYS causes no matter when we chose to celebrate it.

What are your resolutions, goals, commitments, self reflections or anything else you'd like to share?

I actually just learned how to create a "Vision Journal", as opposed to a "Vision Board". I am hoping to manifest many things on my "Vision Journal". Next year, I hope to take up belly dancing and participate in my second Reiki workshop. 2013 will be amazing, for sure!
