I blurted out and retracted just as quickly. Like a true man he pretended as if nothing was said.

A shower, I interrupted, would be good.
I wanted him. I could not rationalize this in my mind, nor make it go away. In the shower I touched my body intimately. He had left me at his place alone to run errands. My understanding of this man was limited. Why is he like this? How am I supposed to react? With all my thinking and touching the water ran cold.
