Fighting an infinite octopus (I’m a visual person)

Goal:  Living a good life and passing it to the next generation

We all what to live in a loving, prosperous and advancing environment where we can express ourselves freely, enjoy life, and reach our full unlimited potential with the people we care for.

Problem: Fighting an infinite octopus

Everywhere people are fighting for THEIR cause and ignoring all others.  But the secret is that we are all fighting the SAME infinite octopus.  An “infinite octopus” is a central body that has many “tentacles” that grow, change, adopt, adjust and regenerate. The more we try to defeat only the tentacles the stronger the body grows. Think about it: if EVERY grouping has an issue with something in the society, doesn’t it stand that there is something wrong with the SOCIETY and not ALL of the people.  And yes the people make the society however our society’s governances force mold, shape and create people to FIT into it instead of us being able to create what fits for us.  The octopus that teaches each of us from birth what is “socially acceptable” is the same that keeps ALL of us oppressed.  The octopus tells us how to think, dress, eat, live, act, talk and treat each other it is so engrained in us it is at times hard to tell what is the octopus and what is us.  Now we can say that we have a choice in the matter but do we really?  Let’s look at it….  If a group of us decide we are fed up and want to become sovereign can we simply move to someplace where no one lives and began to build our own community and begin to farm and raise their own animals?  Can we raise our children by our customs and traditions without external influence?  Can we handle our own justice system without “having to answer to” a larger governance system? Can we freely trade and barter with other sovereigns? NO WE CAN NOT. We HAVE to buy the land, get “permits”, purchase certain “regulated” goods, and abide by the “laws of the land” we are DEPENDENT on the octopus in every aspect of our life and we pay dearly. We have to become (in thought and action) an octopus to survive but our spirits and true selves know there is something wrong. We begin to fight back for our “god given rights” and work with others fighting for theirs.  So then each “activist group” is focused on the tentacle that is holding them down instead of the larger body that is holding EVERYONE down.  Whether we are fighting for gay rights, muslim rights, christian right, woman rights, transgender rights, little people rights, animal rights, prison rights, poor rights, homeless rights, black rights, asian rights, fair housing, etc., etc., we are ALL fighting the SAME THING. Now of course in any fight we try to contain that which is directly impacting us at the moment however we can NOT ignore or forget that there is a bigger force that we ALL must fight together. The fight is very simple humans against savages.  Whether the tentacles (person, idea, system, practice, etc) are racist, sexist, classist, chauvinist, religionist, capitalist or any other “ist” they are savage.  They are savage values, practices, beliefs and allow for savage behaviors to humans daily.  Calling them anything else gives them room to wiggle out of it “I am not *insert ism* I just *insert explanation for ism* (i.e. I am not racist I just get tired of black people getting a free ride.)  Not only have the savages taking over main stream life by causing us ALL to be dependent of them for food, shelter, water, clothing, defense and the rest they have also convinced us NOT to work together AND disguised themselves as different “social issues”.   We are collectively in a perpetual state of indentured servitude.  From a very young child we are focused on “what we are going to be when we grow up” and the “educational” system begins to shape us into workers; squashing free thinking, creativity, collectivity, cooperation in very simple ways.  We are taught working together is “cheating” and doing things in a manner that fits us is “misbehaving” we are taught that taking something without permission is “stealing” yet everything in this society was taken by force or trickery (now this is tricky because we want to have boundaries but naturally when we live in harmony with others we give and take freely without issue), we FORCE our children to sit in classrooms all day and learn how to be a part of the system. Now this isn’t by chance that these are some of the things we HAVE to do, no loving parent would intentionally subject their children to this programming if they didn’t feel like “it was the only way to make it in this world and live a “good life””.  Let’s zoom out a bit back to the body of the octopus.  Its goal is to keep control of all things and have all the worldly resources at its disposal perpetually, this process began THOUSANDS of years ago and continues to this day.  The octopus knows that only way to control people… any people is to control their means of providing for themselves and so them keep all of us dependent on them.

Solution: Know the problem, Educate our children, become self sufficient and be human

There was a time people lived harmoniously globally.  They traveled, traded, bartered, studied one another, shared technology and resources, sustained their own culture/lifestyle and lived in harmony with nature for THOUSANDS of years before this octopus begin to emerge. That is the place we are all striving to get back to whether our vision is convoluted or not.  We must remember that we do not have to fight one another for that.  Natural resources are not scarce it is access to them that has been restricted, limited and bottle necked for profit and control.

Simple steps
  • Destroy the savage in us. Constantly keep ourselves loving, optimistic, advancing, growing and helpings others do the same
  • Destroy the savage around us.  Don’t support businesses, ideas, people, issues, etc. that are savage (support any of the ism or destroy the environment)
  • Work together.  We can buy more, share and get better usage collectively
  • Control our spending & utilization of resources know our needs vs. our wants
  • Live healthier (more in tune with the natural flow of things), less processed foods, less package and prepared “foods”, cook more, create menu and plan ahead
  • Drink clean water and keep our water clean.  Our bodies and the planet are 70% water so in order to stay healthy we must work to ensure our waters are unpolluted internally and externally
  • Recycle, Reuse & barter. Create less waste and “front end production cost”, buy used vs. new when ever possible and exchange services, products, resources, etc
  • Produce for ourselves, grow our own food make, fix, alter our clothing, build, create, fix household items or support others (with the same values) who do these things
  • Build/maintain our own homes or support others (with the same values) who build/maintain homes
  • DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!! If each and everyone of us made one of these changes the result would be EPIC.
I know this was a lot and I appreciate you reading it.  Oh just in case “Octopus” is used as a metaphor there isn’t a giant invisible octopus running things……… OR IS IT? *dun, dun, duuuuuun*

P.S. FUCK RACISM, SEXISM, CLASSIM, CAPITALISM, CORPORCRACISM (democracy run by corporations), CHAUVANISM, PRIVATISM, TRIUMPHALISM, AND THE OTHER FUCKED UP ISMS
